the ladies ending the evening celebrating our Saviour`s birth.
Currently‐‐‐Each week we are holding training sessions for the various committees organized in which the church family can serve. We are grateful for the good spirit and willingness among the members to serve. Last Sunday during the evening service, the men of the church prayed over the first deacons welcoming them to their new responsibilities.
The Future‐‐‐Our goal for 2013 is to double the attendance in Sunday school. Our kids, Evandro and Erica, are expecting their second child (a boy) in March. We plan to be there in South Brazil for this great event. Please pray with us for God to send a couple who can fill in this year so that we can leave on an overdue 4‐month furlough. Our white, 2006 VW bus, or "Kombi", has about 45,000 miles on it. It looks just like a 1960's German VW bus except for the black radiator in front which sort of resembles Charlie Chaplin's mustache. It has taken a hit on the left side by a bus, not quite totaled. We had it fixed; a warped head, had it planed; recently had the transmission repaired, new bearings and synchros, and a new clutch. Like all VW buses, it goes through a clutch cable every 10,000 miles. It is running fine but now is the time to buy a new one. We have a promise of $1000.00 toward a 2013, the difference between ours and a new one is around $10,000.00.
We thank each of you who remember us in your prayers and those of you who so faithfully contribute
financially to the ministry here. Ruth 2:12 "The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust."
