God answered prayer for Neicy and Odenize, a young couple in our church. He has an electronics repair shop in their home (a row house right next to the neighbor). Problem is, the neighbor's loud music, the kind of music Neicy and Odenize don't want in their home. Loud, all during the day and into the night. Impossible to live that way. Neicy talked to him, politely, about the problem but mostly prayed. Last week the neighbor came over and said that his stereo was broken and wondered if Neicy could fix it! Neicy gulped, but before he could reply, the neighbor said, “Look, I know I have not been a good neighbor but you have been patient. It is not working and I need to get it fixed because I just now sold it to a guy in another town. Neicy smiled and said, “Sure, I can fix it for you”. Thank you, Lord!
We've got 50,000 miles on the VW bus now, it's five years old. Last year it got hot on a trip in the interior. Turns out it was a bad water pump. But it got hot a few more times, and warped the head. Right now it's out front, headless. Pistons look OK. The machine shop has the head. Should be running by the end of the week.
We now have a website, rickgaylemclain.com We want to keep it current with praise and prayer requests and write-ups.
