*We ask for safety for us, our church family, the church buildings and the seminary. Various ones of our church have been robbed as was Gayle, recently. This usually involves, purses, cellphones, bank and I.D. cards, and, of course, money. Many of these robberies occur on the public city buses and vans. Gayle also lost her agenda book with important info in it and also her prescription sunglasses. Our church building has been broken into several times recently, damaging the wooden doors and security doors.
*Please pray for us that people around us will always see Jesus in us. As we live our lives, deal with challenges and all types of people, our prayer is that we will always react in a biblical way. *Pray for the salvation of unsaved husbands of church ladies and also the parents of children who come. We do have a good group of men in the church and for that, we are thankful.
*an executive decision that we must make concerning the seminary program for next year. We need wisdom in making the decision and wisdom in knowing how to approach the Brazilian pastors about the matter.
*that we have men qualified to be deacons and for the faithfulness of volunteer workers in the church.
*for the assistant pastor, Roniel (our faithful "Timothy" whom we have the opportunity to train in the ministry)
*for the large piece of property on which the church is located. Often, events with sister churches are held at our church because of the available space that we have for services, the covered, open pavilion for receptions and AWANA, plus parking inside the walled property (for security), all debt free.
